Your Itinerary for Eric and Chuck’s 10th Anniversary Celebation in Paris: August 11 through 14, 2025

Below are all the details for the events organized by Bliss Travels in celebration of Eric and Chuck’s 10-year anniversary. All events are in chronological order. Please review this page regularly as we will update it should there be any changes.

If you have questions regarding any of the events below or anything else you have booked with us either in advance of travel or during travel please email edouard@blisstravels.com. We are happy to assist.

Your point of contact for all events is Edouard. If you have an event related issue that is time sensitive such as you cannot locate a venue or you have a transfer with us and cannot locate the driver, please contact Edouard by telephone. Do not wait! He can be reached at +33 6 59 63 06 69. Please note that his number is for time sensitive event situations only not general questions related to events or our bookings.

We can assist only with the events below or things we have booked for you or bookings you wish to have us make for you. We cannot assist you with bookings you have made on your own (like your own hotel or airbnb bookings) or DIY travel arrangements.

Tuesday August 12th: Let’s celebrate!

What: Seine River Jazz Cruise 10th Anniversary Celebration
Meeting and Check in Time for Boat: 7:45pm
Meeting point: Dock entrance, 50 boulevard de la Bastille 75012 PARIS
Departure from Dock: Promptly at 8:15pm (the boat cannot return to the dock to pick up late arrivals)
Dress code: Black Tie
Return to Dock: Between 11:30pm and Midnight
What to expect: Champagne, wines, soft drinks, passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres and desserts, enough for a meal.* Selection includes vegetarian, meat, seafood, cheese and fish to accommodate special diets.

Wednesday August 13th: A Royal Day at Versailles

You are either joining the grooms for an exploration of the King’s apartments of Versailles, an area not open to the public followed by a picnic off the grounds, or you are visiting the castle with a ticket and then joining the grooms and our other guests for our gourmet picnic. Both groups will enjoy a walk through Versailles’ magical gardens on the way to the picnic led by our private guide.

What: Private visit of the King’s apartments
Meeting time: 8:50am
Meeting point: Meet Edouard at the Square de la Tour Saint-Jacques, 39 rue de Rivoli, 75004 Paris. Please enter the garden and meet by the tower (picture attached).
Departure time: 9:15am pick up in Paris for 10:30am admission in the private visit (it’s very important you leave on time as late arrival may be denied entry).

What: General Admission Attendees (people visiting on a ticket to Versailles and joining the picnic)
Meeting time: 7:45 am
Meeting point: Concierge desk inside the Lobby of Hotel Marriott Champs-Elysées, 70 Av. des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris. Do not wait outside. All 6 attendees should meet in front of the concierge desk. Edouard will meet you at 7:45 and take you to your driver, but he will leave promptly at 8:15am. Please be on time! Please do not look for your driver on your own. Please wait at the concierge desk only!
Departure time: 8:15 am depart Paris for 9:30am admission tickets to Versailles castle (it’s very important you leave on time as late tickets may be denied entry).
Who: Dennis & Lisa, Rob & Stuart, Betsy & Dave L.
How to meet the group afterwards: General admission provides a one-way tour through the castle, beginning on the left side and concluding on the right. At the end of your visit, you will exit on the right side. Please wait for the group under the archway (see attached photo) where the castle tour ends. Be sure to be there by noon. If you have any trouble finding the meeting point, don’t hesitate to call Edouard.

Your tickets will be sent by email separately.

Dress code for all: Casual with Royal Flair
Return to Paris for all: Both groups return together by around 7pm.

Monday August 11th: Private Chef experience

What: A welcome event with a Private Chef, luxury bites and a cooking demo.
Meeting Time: 5pm
Meeting point: 10 Rue du Grenier-Saint-Lazare, 75003 Paris
Dress code: Chic
Ending time: 10pm
What to expect: Extensive buffet of high end bites, open bar, cooking demo with a Private Chef having served royal delegations in Davos International Forum and worked in Michelin starred kitchens.

Transportation in and out of our scheduled events

Transportation in and out Versailles from the mentioned meeting points is included.

If you would like private transportation to or from any of our other scheduled events (e.g. from the boat at the end of the night or from the Speakeasy) please let us know as soon as possible. Prices depend upon the number of people, the time of day, and whether you have a Mercedes sedan or a Mercedes van. Please note that we only provide transportation to or from our events.

We remind you that our trips and events are not refundable and we highly recommend to purchase travel insurance.

Thursday August 14th: Market tour and Bistro lunch

What: A lively market street tour followed by a 3 course Bistro lunch.

Meeting time: 9:45am for 10:00am start of the tour.

Meeting point: Pont Neuf, 75001 Paris, by the statue of Henri IV in the middle of the bridge (picture attached).
Dress code: Smart Casual (with comfortable walking shoes, and possibly a bag for your market purchases if you wish to bring things home for dinner or for your departure meal (train snacks or plane meal).
Ending time: 2:30-3pm

What to expect: Walking tour of a lively market street, additional historical anecdotes from our guide, tasting of fresh cheese and fruits, 3 course Bistro lunch.
